Web3 Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in building and maintaining security systems
• 2 years of work experience with incident detection, incident response and forensics
• Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, IDPS, SIEM solutions, authentication systems, etc.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and/or Power Shell.
• Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Extreme ownership mentality - ability to take extreme ownership and full responsibility of tasks and projects
• Fast learner with a natural curiosity
• Clear ability and willingness to hustle and get things done
• Passionate about blockchain technology
• Able to provide valuable feedback and input during meetings
• Staying committed to weekly assignments and being able to follow through
• Professionalism and quality in work ethic

Nice to have

• A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification.
• Previous experience in the blockchain industry, particularly around the NEAR, Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Solana ecosystem

Responsibilities

•  Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization’s data, systems, and networks.
• Troubleshooting security problems.
• Response to system and network security incidents.
• Ensuring that the organization’s data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
• Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repetitive tasks.
• Test digital infrastructure for vulnerabilities.
• Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.
• Communication and collaboration with a fully distributed team
