About the Opportunity

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Team manages IT infrastructure for OK group. We are a group of software engineers, network specialists and server admins aim to ensure reliability and security of IT infrastructure, promote DevOps culture and make sure developers have the right tools to carry out development. As Senior Cloud Engineer of our fast-growing engineering team in Hong Kong, you will be working on a wide-spectrum of projects, managing cloud-based IT infrastructure for a global digital asset trading platform, and supporting industry-leading quant trading platform.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work closely with quant trading tech team with extensive experience from top-tier investment banks and hedge funds to understand their IT service requirements
• Provide user support and handle BAU tasks for cloud infrastructure and quant trading platform
• Responsible for cloud resource delivery including server, database, load balancer, object storage and K8S cluster globally and across different cloud platform
• Responsible for service reliability, monitoring, capacity planning and security of the cloud infrastructure
• Build tools for automating changes for a large-scale trading platform across the globe

What We Look For In You:

• Solid STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) education background
• Solid experience in supporting IT infrastructure
• Experience in supporting public cloud infrastructure
• Experience of being a frontline engineer in a 24/7 trading platform is a plus
• Strong interest in digital asset industry and to work in a rapid changing environment
• Familiar with Linux operating system with some administration experience
• Experience with scripting languages such as shell and python
• Experience in server and application monitoring, and deployment automation
• Experience with relational and time-series database
• Experience with application load balancer
• Security minded with a high-level understanding of cryptographic algorithms, secure communication protocols and secrets management systems
• Knowledge in network protocols and related hardware/software stack
