Job Description
TPMs at Cash App are passionate about being of service through cross-functional collaboration between engineering teams, demonstrating ownership & accountability, solving chaos with structure and helping us land sound technical outcomes as we further our mission of economic empowerment. In This Role You Will
- Lead the optimization of the current processes to meet our needs for a wide array of content types
- Guide development and implementation of necessary tooling, frameworks, processes and procedures
- Partnering with Product Managers, Engineering Managers and Technical Leads to decompose ambiguous technical problems into tracks of work, with clear and prioritized deliverables, and owners identified
- Maintaining program visibility by communicating effectively through:
- Roadmaps and quarterly plans
- Celebration of wins
- Highlighting risk
- Cultivate a team culture of high agency, execution, and customer focus
- Build partnerships with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Design and identify opportunities to help teams scale faster and efficiently in expansion efforts
- Manage external vendors for maximum quality, speed, and cost efficiency
- Help to develop and maintain strategic plans, team roadmap(s), operations readiness plans, and regular status updates to help teams scale
- 8+ years of broad technical experience including but not limited to infrastructure, network, systems and applications
- Experience managing and releasing complex, high-quality products and product features in partnership with product teams
- Experience establishing processes, supporting teams, developing relationships, and managing end-to-end for a portfolio of concurrent programs
- Impact oriented who can identify how initiatives and effort can move the needle for the organization
- Ability to influence various stakeholders including technical leaders and executive management
- Data and Detail oriented Analytical thinker with ability to drive initiatives to completion
Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $184,100 - USD $225,000
Zone B: USD $174,900 - USD $213,700
Zone C: USD $165,700 - USD $202,500
Zone D: USD $156,400 - USD $191,200
