Job Description - Technical Content Writer

5ire is a blockchain company whose mission is to make blockchain sustainable and accessible for over one billion people by 2030. The company aims to address the problem of low blockchain adoption due to sustainability and accessibility challenges. 5ire is a layer 1 blockchain ecosystem designed with economic and environmental sustainability at its core.

About the role:

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including blog posts, articles, user documentation, and video scripts.
2. Learn complex concepts, and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and understood by users on our social media platforms.
3. Write for a variety of audiences, from non-technical end users to programmers, system administrators, and integrators.
4. Closely collaborate with R&D to stay updated on ecosystem advancements and communicate the same externally.
5. Ensure that all documentation aligns with the organization's brand messaging and tone of voice.
6. Deliver high-quality content within the assigned time frame.
7. Optimize content according to user satisfaction.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of technical writing experience in web3.
2. Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums.
3. Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process.
4. Ability to write clearly and succinctly for multiple audiences using either formal or more casual tones. Excellent command in English/preferably a native speaker.
5. Must understand core concepts of blockchain technology and have a strong grasp over the infrastructure technically.
6. Has previously written a technical paper for layer 1.
