Finance is a backbone of Change that supports the growth of the company. We own Change sustainable financials and Change financial sustainability. 

The team drives group accounting, dealing, treasury, financial planning and analysis processes to plan, measure and execute the growth. We ensure that we grow in a financially scalable and sustainable way through robust liquidity, capital management and budgeting. Control mindset is in our veins as we are accountable for financial and management reporting across the board. All these components together allow us to provide trust to our customers, regulators, tax and other authorities, auditors, investors and markets into Change business and Change financials. Group Accounting is an integral part of Finance and is a source of truth about Change financials. We are looking for an experienced Accountant to assist with various accounting activities and support the international expansion of Change in the coming years.

What you’ll be doing

• Plan, document, improve and run accounting processes for parts of Change books. You will be able to learn areas that you might not have experienced earlier
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, year-end period closing operations and consolidation following established processes and IFRS / local accounting standards
• Engage in Change Group and its subsidiaries month-end review, analysis and controls to ensure financials are accurate, timely and complete
• Collaborate with wider Change team, partners and vendors, counterparties on preparing, collecting and sharing accounting documentation
• Participate in the financial audits by providing required data sets, documents, control results and replying to auditor's questions
• Support the Group Accounting team with numerous innovative and improvement projects

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, including AP/AR functions
• Advanced use of Excel and experience with Microsoft Business Central
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Not afraid of challenges, making decisions and fast-changing environment
• Cooperative attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
• Accuracy and high attention to details

Nice to have

• Background in accounting for a large international or a fast-growing company
• Knowledge and interest towards investing and cryptocurrencies
• Experience with implementation of new tools and software programs
• University degree in Economics/Accounting/Finance or similar
