The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Smart Contract Engineer with Full Stack ability who’s deeply familiar with Solana, Rust, and Typescript to join our core team. You’ll be working closely with our CTO to bring the protocol and product to life across the full stack—but with a primary initial focus on completing our smart contract.

This is a foundational engineering role with ownership, speed, and autonomy. You’ll be joining a lean team of several high level senior operators with the expectation of owning a portion of the stack.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with our CTO to design and implement on-chain Solana programs, especially around the infrastructure/Amm design for prediction markets.
• Contribute to our frontend via insights from your Solana native background—from wallet integrations and transaction flows to real-time market UIs.
• Develop and maintain backend infrastructure, including transaction relayers, APIs, and indexers.
• Optimize for speed, reliability, and UX. We are hyper concerned with the behavior and experience of users of our platform.
• Ship rapidly: prototype, test, and deploy iteratively as we expand the protocol and user base.

A good fit looks like

• Have a background or intimately understand the details of financial mathematics as it relates to prediction market AMM design.
• Are comfortable building across the stack: Rust (on-chain), TypeScript/React (frontend), and Node (backend/APIs).
• Have experience launching full products or protocols in DeFi, NFTs, on-chain betting, or games.
• Understand on-chain data flows and how to architect performant indexing and caching layers.
• Have worked closely with product and design teams to bring ideas to life.

Requirements

• Have shipped high traffic Solana smart contracts from local development to mainnet (ideally using Anchor) and understand intimately the intricacies involved in building and launching a production ready contract.
• Are based in New York City and willing to work person - this role is embedded closely with our CTO and founding team who all work in-person in NYC.
• You are comfortable with sprinting in a high ownership, high trust environment. The purpose of this role is for you to be the expert on the Solana ecosystem. Many decisions on architecture will be pushed and made by you.
• You consider yourself a senior level developer and have worked and/or led teams in the past.
• You are a good communicator & detail oriented.

The Team

We're a team of four guys living and breathing this, currently based out of NYC. You’ll be working with the youngest (now-ex) partner at a well known crypto VC fund, a senior marketer who has worked to scale some of the largest crypto companies, a Harvard-CS CTO with a whole slew of early stage startup experience, and a founding engineer from Two Sigma & Twitch.
