About You

Working from Galaxy’s New York office, the VP will support the Strategic Solutions team through managing a growing pipeline of structured deals with both traditional finance and cryptocurrency-focused counterparties. Responsibilities will include end-to-end deal execution focusing on the full product offering of Galaxy Digital Trading: lending, derivatives, structured products, as well as identifying strategic opportunities to support projects throughout the digital asset ecosystem. This individual should have a background in structured finance and deal execution and knowledge of the cryptocurrency industry.

On a given day at Galaxy, you will:

  • Manage Galaxy’s growing structured deal pipeline under the auspices of the Strategic Solutions team in the Trading division
  • Spearhead structured deal flow end-to-end including modeling, structuring, validation, risk assessment and execution related to products, tokens and various other financial structures in the cryptocurrency markets
  • Participate in the company’s overall business development; accompany team members to meet with clients and further evaluate offerings, assist in resolving issues, and identify any areas of opportunities
  • Create presentation materials, SWOT analysis, and all relevant deal-execution materials for internal process approvals
  • Work alongside all relevant internal teams to bring deals to conclusion including but not limited to Operations, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Trading and more
  • Support directly on deal execution, product structuring, sales and trading businesses and research relating to institutional counterparties including but not limited to financial institutions, cryptocurrency companies, token foundations, DeFi protocols, staking services and more
  • Identify and execute on new opportunities in the cryptocurrency markets related to the business lines of the Strategic Solutions Group

You’ve worked hard for:

  • 5+ years in financial services in a sales and trading, investment banking or similar role and/or experience in cryptocurrency markets
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant fields of study
  • Experience/knowledge of OTC trading, derivatives structuring and/or structured product offerings
  • Experience/knowledge of DeFi market dynamics, NFTs and/or tokenomics
  • Knowledge of and strong interest in cryptocurrency trends, market drivers and blockchain technology
  • Knowledge of basic financial derivatives and lending structures
  • Strong capabilities with PowerPoint and Excel (data analytics program knowledge is a plus)
