Position

The company is seeking an experienced product leader to develop its product vision, strategy, and roadmap for its blockchain protocols. The Lead Product Manager, Protocols will leverage their expertise in trust-minimized, permissionless, decentralized protocols on the blockchain to develop the case for the capabilities which should be developed, drive overall vision and product strategy, and gain leadership buy-in and investment for new capabilities.

In this role you will:

  • Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery for the company’s trust-minimized, permissionless, decentralized protocols on the blockchain
  • Develop a deep understanding of all stakeholders - data providers, data consumers, developers, validators, nominators, enthusiasts, and other community members - and how to incentivize growth of a flywheel among them
  • Write requirements that work backwards from audience needs and maintain a maniacal focus on delivering exponential value for all stakeholders
  • Partner effectively with other leaders internally to influence priorities and drive alignment
  • Monitor project execution and ensure that the project delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with target dates

Requirements

  • 2+ years of direct experience in the design and implementation of public blockchain protocols
  • 4+ years of experience as a technical product manager or engineer
  • Hands-on experience with the concepts, products, and services that are driving web3 with a particular focus on decentralized finance including but not limited to exchanges, liquidity pools, lending protocols, AMMs, staking, collateralization, governance tokens and stablecoins
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication and a track record influencing technical and non-technical staff
  • Degree in economics, computer science, math, complex systems, or other quantitative discipline
