About the Opportunity
We are seeking a new Social Media Manager to join our growing team!
As Kadena’s Social Media Manager, you will lead in managing our social media channels, cultivating our vibrant online community, and shaping our social media strategy. You'll create, schedule, and curate social media content, moderate discussions, and develop innovative programs to engage our community. Your role will play a critical part in supporting social media sentiments and fostering a positive environment.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Manage and oversee our social media channels, ensuring consistent, high-quality content and a strong community presence on Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Reddit, etc
- Engage with comments and replies within and outside of our social media channel to drive discussion and awareness
- Draft and schedule announcements, copy, and posts on social media that adhere to the company’s brand and tone of voice
- Develop and maintain a content calendar, scheduling posts at optimal times to maximize reach and engagement
- Moderate our social media channels, maintaining a respectful and vibrant community atmosphere
- Create clearly outlined directions for social media graphics that our design team will implement
- Oversee moderators, providing guidance and support to ensure they’re engaging with the community and fostering a positive environment
- Help innovate, create, and manage community programs, giveaways, challenges, quizzes, and events, like Zealy quests, that encourage participation and loyalty within the community
- Utilize Sprinklr, a social media listening and analytics tool, to measure and report on the effectiveness of social media strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement through market research
What Sets You Apart
- 5-6+ years of social media marketing and community management experience
- 1-2 years of blockchain and crypto experience
- Ability to discover trends and act quickly on them
- Experience with the creation and strict editing of social media announcements
- Experience working with design teams to ideate the creation of social media graphics/ designs
- Excellent English writing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammarEffective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Process-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while upholding strict standards for all content
- Self-starter, ability to lead innovative efforts, and drive for excellence
- Able to function independently, as well as collaboratively with other team members
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or commensurate experience preferred
- Has experience using Sprinklr, Sprout Socials, or similar social media listening tools
- Experience interacting with social media platforms and channels, especially Twitter, Telegram, Discord, and Reddit.
- Knowledge of blockchain technology and the Web3 movement
- Ability to work CST or EST hours

- Knowledge of the strengths and differences between social platforms is preferred

What We Offer
This role has an annual starting salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 + benefits listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to your individual skills and experience.
