At Metallicus, we are shaping digital money and revolutionizing the way people transact by building the decentralized financial infrastructure of the future. To date, we have launched and operate Metal Pay (digital banking and crypto wallet) and Proton SDK a distributed ledger for identity and interaction with the card and banking payments settlement layer.
Responsibilities:
Develop a clear global PR plan, with a specific focus on the US & Europe, and UK
Own local PR tactics including proactive media outreach, media interviews, announcements and securing speaking engagements and podcast opportunities for our company spokespeople
Generate high impact thought leadership opportunities
Create new PR campaigns and amplify existing campaigns
Support global and pan-European PR activitiesEstablish and maintain relationships with US, EU & UK-based media outlets and journalists
Proactive pitching, reactive handling and active media monitoring, analyzing and reporting PR coverage and outcomes
Full event support, at all company led events, including but not limited to Money2020 US, Money2020 EU, Consensus and more.
Including pre-planning, on-ground Media/PR opportunities, and post event coverage
Support with relevant copywriting opportunities, including contribution to company blog posts, and thought leadership pieces
Oversee internal company communications, including the roll-out of a messaging house, and key product documentation to ensure synergy between employees
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant Public Relations experience in the crypto/payments/fintech industries
Expert knowledge of UK, US, EU financial/crypto media landscape
Proven media relations skills, solid copy-writing and editing skills
A strategic thinker with the motivation and drive to own and execute initiatives
Work independently and collaborate with remote global marketing team members
Fluent English speaker
