Accounts Payable Specialist Who We Are: Telcoin is a start-up fintech provider utilizing block-chain technology to deliver cutting edge financial products and services. Telcoin is expanding rapidly and currently operates in numerous countries with the ambition to launch in many more. As part of our expansion, we are seeking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist in the US.  Job Description:

Receiving, processing payments (ensuring invoices are properly approved and paid in a timely manner), verifying and reconciling invoices. Charging invoices to the appropriate payable accounts of the associated entity in the accounting system. Collaborating with internal departments across the globe to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial data associated with the invoices received from the vendors Maintaining vendor records and communication Reconciling transactions with the account payable balances making sure that it’s up to date. Assist with financial reporting, budgeting processes, any other related task Maintaining and developing working knowledge of all procedures, policies and accounting framework associated with accounts payable Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills:

At least 1 year of experience with NetSuite, preferably using the Accounts Payable module 5+ years of experience using Quickbooks or similar accounting software 5-7 years Accounts Payable and/or Accounting experience Excellent attention to detail and solid organizational skills  Good working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and debits/credits Great Vendor Management skills, including A/P analysis and tracking for 1099 purposes and issuance at year end Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)  A strong work ethic and sense of accountability The ability to work well as part of a team as well as individually and can step in to help out in other areas when needed to help accomplish a goal 

Preferred skills:

Moderate to Advanced MS Excel skills Good understanding of controls and how to fully document step-by-step processes
