We are looking for an experienced hand (Remote Employee) to take over product marketing responsibilities for one of our core product lines. Do you have the desire to create new narratives, strengthen messaging, share customer stories, and accelerate adoption of a market leading product? Would you like to have fun in a high-growth, high-energy environment in a role that requires you to work with cross-functional teams from product management, sales, sales enablement, and account management? What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the primary owner of messaging and content for a critical product line
  • Partner with product management to understand and shape roadmap based on industry and market needs
  • Own product launches including theme development and messaging, internal and external communications, sales enablement, and customer value
  • Build narratives around product positioning, market fit, customer value, and competitive differentiation.
  • Build and deliver sales tools and training materials to support sales activities and articulate market differentiators
  • Drive creative, multi-channel marketing campaignsthat resonate with internal and external audiences. Partner with field and demand generation teams to execute and measure results.
  • Assess customer and prospect needs and motivations through interviews and research to ensure current business trends are addressed in product development and marketing campaigns.
  • Become an integral part of a product marketing team that touches 3 primary product lines and numerous product add-ons.
  • Support industry-focused messaging and positioning campaigns around the core capabilities of the product
  • Participate in brand and voice definition discussions around how products should be shared with press and industry analysts

What You Bring to ServiceMax:

This role is intended for a Remote employee or at our Pleasanton, CA headquarters

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Business Administration, Marketing, or Computer Science.
  • Experience with Enterprise Software product marketing
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, solution marketing, growth marketing, product management, marketing communications, or go-to-market strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences
  • Comfortable working with customers and synthesizing feedback into relevant internal messaging
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise messaging for stakeholders
  • Experience in high-growth technology companies
  • Strong cross-functional leader – who can lead and manage projects that go across many teams, time zones and product lines
  • Interest in emerging technology trends – AI, AR, IoT, Blockchain
