Job Overview:
As the Community and Engagement Lead, you will spearhead developing and implementing community engagement strategies across our web3 projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with a robust understanding of blockchain technology and digital currencies. You will be responsible for building and leading a team of community managers and ensuring our community engagement strategies are innovative and effective.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing research into web3 activities, trends, and best practices to stay ahead of the curve in community engagement strategies.
- Develop, refine, and implement engagement strategies tailored to different community segments and platforms.
- Create comprehensive guides and training materials for community managers, focusing on engagement tactics, platform best practices, and community growth techniques.
- Monitor, analyze, and synthesize community engagement metrics to adjust strategies and report on ROI.
- Build, manage, and mentor a team of community managers, providing them with leadership and guidance to achieve community growth and engagement objectives.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure community feedback is integrated into project development and marketing strategies.
- Lead initiatives to utilize community insights for product enhancement and user experience improvements.
- Manage the creation and distribution of engaging content across various platforms to maintain an active community presence.
- Organize and oversee community events, both virtual and in-person, to enhance community solidarity and brand loyalty.
- Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the company’s values and fostering positive community interactions.
- Research and integrate the latest trends in web3, blockchain, and meme coin marketing to maintain and grow active communities.

- Foster active, engaged, and growing communities around each project, enhancing brand visibility and user loyalty.
- Ensure community managers are equipped with the necessary tools, knowledge, and strategies to build strong, loyal followings.
- Leverage community insights to inform project development and contribute to the company’s overall strategy and success.
- Build a resilient community management team that can effectively respond to community needs and drive engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in community management or engagement, particularly within the tech or web3 space.
- Previous experience or deep knowledge in centralized (CEX) and decentralized exchanges (DEX) is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding or experience in managing multicultural communities is a plus, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong understanding of social media, forums, and other communication platforms.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide insights on community trends.
- Experience in organizing and leading community events.
- Creative thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing remote teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven ability to excel in viral/meme coin marketing, with a track record of successful social media campaigns and community growth initiatives in the cryptocurrency space.
- Creativity in leveraging meme culture and viral trends to enhance community engagement and brand visibility.
- Experience managing multicultural and diverse community groups.
- Knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
Work Environment:
- This is a remote position, requiring several in-person collaborative sessions each quarter.
- Must be flexible to accommodate various time zones and occasionally work weekends.
