About us
Hello! We're Webstacks - a high-performance website operations and growth marketing agency in Downtown San Diego that's transforming the way the world's most influential SaaS, FinTech, and Blockchain companies compete in today's digital landscape.
Established in 2020, Webstacks has rocketed into a 40-person company because of its innovative website operations methodology, strong partnerships, and high-growth clients. We are constantly setting larger goals and stopping at nothing to achieve them. Our team's dedication is humbling, and we are looking for another motivated individual to help us reach the next level.
We are a hybrid remote-office company headquartered in downtown San Diego. We place a strong emphasis on results rather than when or where they are produced. Because of this we have a distributed team across the United States all working together with a unified goal.
Position overview
The Webstacks Marketing team is looking for a bold, creative Social Media Intern who isn’t afraid to think outside of the box. As a Social Media Intern, you will have full responsibility and autonomy over all aspects of social content and help contribute to our growing audiences on all existing social platforms with the help of the Marketing Coordinator. This internship will allow you to work with our SEO, Design, and Development teams, as well as third-party vendors.
*This is a part-time (20hrs/wk) internship that takes place between June-August of 2022.*
Here’s what you’ll be working on:
- Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns monthly.
- See throughout the production of social content from the strategic planning phase to the distribution phase.
- Research topics in Atomic Design, Headless CMS, Jamstack, Marketing Automation, Technical SEO, Web3, User Experience Design, and more.
- Create monthly content calendars of 20+ posts for the Webstacks LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram accounts.
- Coordinate with the Content Marketing team to create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, press releases, and case studies.
- Track social media engagement on a weekly/monthly basis to identify trends, high-performing ideas, and campaigns.
- Use tools such as Figma, Canva, and Stripo for custom creative and email marketing needs.
- Use HubSpot’s publishing and tracking tool to schedule and analyze the performance of social media posts on all platforms.
The Day to Day:
- Build a monthly strategy plan 2-3 weeks in advance for topics in Web Development, Web Design, Technology, and Company Culture.
- Conduct research on topics related to Jamstack, Headless CMS, UX Design, Technical SEO, Web3, and Atomic Design
- Use native design tools like Figma to create branded social media illustrations
- Use Asana to track task progress and activity on all social media-related tasks.
- Write creative copy for carousels and captions for all social media platforms.
- Track performance metrics to identify areas of opportunity and improvement.
- Build custom dashboards using HubSpot’s dashboard and social media tracking tools
- Work with 3rd-party vendors for custom creative needs.
- Meet with your manager for daily standups to run through daily/weekly tasks, check in on the status of current tasks, and eliminate blockers.
Experience, education, and physical requirements:
- Personal interest in staying up to date with current Digital Marketing trends
- 1+ years of experience in Social Media Marketing
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and scheduling skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or in a related field (or pursuing one if not yet graduated)
