As Accelerator Program Manager, you help to run one of the most visible startup acceleration programs of the Web3 ecosystem.

The Cronos Accelerator Program was launched in 2022 and will accept 10 to 15 startups every quarter, for a 10 week program that aims to accelerate the growth and development of top-tier dApps on Cronos. Target verticals are: advanced DeFi, metaverse & gameFi, blockchain infrastructure.

For app builders, the program offers the following benefits: 1-1 mentorship with Cronos experts and accelerator partners (to be announced), masterclass sessions and fireside chats with founders, operational advisory, virtual and in-person networking events, demo day and investor introductions.

Responsibilites:

• Source candidates for the accelerator program, to the tune of at least 10x the number of startups eventually accepted (100+ candidates per quarter), by networking online, keeping track of web3 conferences and hackathons, and publishing content.
• Work with stakeholders to evaluate applications and finalize cohorts before program start: organize and conduct interviews, perform due diligence, coordinate evaluations, close agreements with start-ups.
• Establish relationships with investors, accomplished founders, web3 infrastructure providers and security firms so that they participate as mentors, jury members, providers of discounted resources for startups, etc.
• Create and/or coordinate accelerator curriculum content, working with the team and partners to create value adding master classes/sessions.
• Strive every day to increase the quality of the founder experience (measured by feedback) and the outcomes of the program for founders and investors (measured by dollars raise).
• Support accelerated startups after the end of the accelerator program in order to help them to be successful in the Cronos ecosystem. Advise on user acquisition strategy, business development, token design, etc.

Requirements:

• Personal commitment to the cryptocurrency space. The candidate is expected to be familiar with the leading DeFi apps, and the key concepts of blockchain GameFi.
• 2-5 years of work experience in startup accelerator(s), open-source developer relations, or web3 marketing.
• Track record of executing complex projects flawlessly. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Attention to details.
• Ability to build rapport and establish strong working relationships with coworkers and partners. The ideal candidate is outgoing, exudes energy and makes others want to work with them.
• Personal network in the Web3 key opinion leader / investor community and/or meaningful social presence (Twitter) with engaged followers are strong pluses.
• Interest in a potential career evolution towards startup investment or corporate development.
• A majority of the Cronos team is currently based in Singapore/Hong Kong timezone. Candidates for this role will generally be expected to manage their work schedule in order to have 5 to 6 hours of overlap with this timezone daily.
