Web3 Analytics and Research Lead

Data drives Figment! We’re looking for rockstar analytical talent to help us create the future of staking. As the leader of our research and analytics team, you will be a key driver of our strategy and product. You’ll shine the light on everything from key business KPIs and metrics, product usage, to protocol risk and understanding, business and market dynamics, pricing and positioning.

You will not just answer questions, but direct us to ask the right questions. Questions and insights that will steer us to win. You care about the customer, product usability, market share, combining business and user value to build a truly compelling product experience.

As the leader of our analytics and research group, you’ll structure our analytics and research efforts. Start the right initiatives and build a strong team of product, business, market and operations analysts. You’ll define what our analytical needs are and work proactively to achieve them.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the mission, vision and building of our analysis and research efforts that drive product, business and market strategy
  • Form partnerships with senior business stakeholders to understand their areas of operation, understand business drivers for performance and KPIs, articulate business needs, and deliver data products, analytical insights, and recommendations.
  • Product KPIs: Work closely with product to define and track product metrics and KPIs related to our North Star Metric and its input metrics.
  • Product Dashboards: Support the design and development of product dashboards within an event tracking and reporting tool
  • Product Strategy / Roadmap: Provide analysis and/ market studies to support strategic initiatives related to product strategy and roadmap
  • Through a deep understanding of crypto, protocols and dynamics, you’ll help us steer product initiatives and priorities.
  • Conduct a weekly KPIs meeting where you will present and identify trends on our product and marketing efforts to key stakeholders.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years experience working as an analyst (finance/business/product/growth etc. analytics)
  • A solid understanding of SQL, you are able to quickly get answers from structured and unstructured datasets
  • Experience building dashboards and analytical cases
  • Strong Intuition for data and basic statistical concepts
  • Effective communicator who can successfully operate in a cross-functional role. You will inform key strategic decisions by communicating clearly with business stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences through visualizations and studies
  • Extremely driven and proactive
  • Not a requirement but highly desirable in this role is the ability to mentor, coach and build a high performing team of analysts

Not required but a plus if you have

  • Prior consulting experience
  • Experience building and coaching high performing, diverse teams of analysts
  • Knowledge of how blockchains, smart contracts and such things work.
  • Experience with SaaS or API business models
