Mintology is a new business operation which is focused on serving up the Mintable core technology to enterprises in a B2B, “Software as a Service” type proposition. This allows large brands to take control of their NFT strategy, whilst not having to build the technology themselves. We call this “NFT as a Service”.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team, playing a critical role in expanding our market presence and driving strategic partnerships within the NFT, blockchain, and web3 ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with Mintology's vision, mission, and business objectives in the NFT and blockchain industries.
  2. Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures.
  3. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential threats within the industry.
  4. Collaborate with the Head of Sales, Product, Marketing, and other internal teams to develop and implement cohesive go-to-market strategies for new products and services in the NFT and blockchain space.
  5. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities, managing the end-to-end deal process from prospecting to negotiation and execution.
  6. Leverage your network and industry knowledge to generate leads and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers.
  7. Represent Mintology at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to raise brand awareness and cultivate new business opportunities.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of partnerships and effective implementation of joint initiatives.
  9. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve business development objectives.
  10. Serve as an internal expert on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.

Qualifications & Skills

  1. 2+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships.
  2. Proven track record of securing high-impact partnerships and achieving revenue growth in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  3. Strong understanding of the NFT, blockchain, crypto, and web3 ecosystems, with the ability to stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging customer needs.
  4. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with partners and stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex situations, and develop innovative solutions to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
  6. Experience working in a cross-functional team environment, coordinating with Product, Marketing, Sales, and other internal teams to achieve business objectives.
  7. Highly adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity, able to navigate rapidly changing environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
  8. Willingness to support business development initiatives, meet with partners, and attend industry events.
  9. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
