Mintology is a new business operation which is focused on serving up the Mintable core technology to enterprises in a B2B, “Software as a Service” type proposition. This allows large brands to take control of their NFT strategy, whilst not having to build the technology themselves. We call this “NFT as a Service”.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team, playing a critical role in expanding our market presence and driving strategic partnerships within the NFT, blockchain, and web3 ecosystems.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with Mintology's vision, mission, and business objectives in the NFT and blockchain industries.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential threats within the industry.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales, Product, Marketing, and other internal teams to develop and implement cohesive go-to-market strategies for new products and services in the NFT and blockchain space.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities, managing the end-to-end deal process from prospecting to negotiation and execution.
- Leverage your network and industry knowledge to generate leads and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers.
- Represent Mintology at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to raise brand awareness and cultivate new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of partnerships and effective implementation of joint initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve business development objectives.
- Serve as an internal expert on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships.
- Proven track record of securing high-impact partnerships and achieving revenue growth in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Strong understanding of the NFT, blockchain, crypto, and web3 ecosystems, with the ability to stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging customer needs.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with partners and stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex situations, and develop innovative solutions to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment, coordinating with Product, Marketing, Sales, and other internal teams to achieve business objectives.
- Highly adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity, able to navigate rapidly changing environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to support business development initiatives, meet with partners, and attend industry events.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
