Antalpha is hiring a Web3 Senior Vice President / Head of Capital Markets & Strategic Financing

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned capital markets executive with deep expertise in structuring and executing complex financing solutions—including senior debt, convertibles, and private placements—for public companies. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for owning and optimizing the company’s capital structure, leading strategic financing initiatives, and driving stakeholder engagement across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
Capital Markets Strategy:
- Architect and implement comprehensive capital-structure strategies using senior debt, convertibles, hybrids, and private placements.
Private Placements / PIPEs:
- Originate and close capital raises with private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, and crypto-native investors.
Convertible Bonds & Hybrids:
- Lead deal structuring, pricing, and hedging strategies (e.g., capped calls, call spreads) with internal and external counterparties.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for investment banks, portfolio managers, rating agencies, and research analysts. Present to the board and secure internal approvals.
Commodities & Digital Asset Financing:
- Partner with Treasury to structure financing solutions for commodity inventories and asset-backed exposures.
Cross-Border Execution:
- Navigate regulatory and tax requirements across the U.S., Hong Kong, Singapore, and broader Asia. Execute 144A/Reg S and HKMA-compliant transactions.
Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performance capital markets team. Champion a culture of precision, ethics, and speed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Investment Banking Background:
- Former Partner or MD-level experience at a top-tier investment bank, with a history of leading transactions over $500M.
Public Company Financing Experience:
- Proven record of managing financing initiatives directly for public companies.
Regulatory Fluency:
- Deep knowledge of SEC, FINRA, NYSE/Nasdaq, and cross-border (144A/Reg S) issuance frameworks.
Executive Presence:
- Strong boardroom communication skills and the ability to manage high-level stakeholder relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
East Asia Experience:
- Direct execution experience in Hong Kong, Singapore, or Mainland China.
Commodities Expertise:
- Familiarity with structured trades including pre-export finance, repos, and inventory-backed facilities.
Digital Asset Sector Exposure:
- Capital raising experience for blockchain, mining, or crypto infrastructure companies.
Language:
- Mandarin fluency is a strong plus.
