Web3 Lead Python Developer (DeFi Infrastructure)

We’re hiring a Lead Python Developer to become one of the first technical hires on a newly launched DeFi trading initiative backed by an established, profitable quantitative trading company.

This is a rare opportunity to build mission-critical infrastructure from scratch - with real capital, real P&L, and real ownership.

You’ll work directly with the founding team, shaping architecture and making foundational technical decisions.

Your Impact:

• Extend and scale Python-based trading infrastructure

• Build integrations with DeFi protocols & smart contracts

• Design real-time pipelines for on-chain & market data

• Develop microservices for automation and strategy execution

• Create internal tooling & monitoring systems

• Optimize performance, latency and reliability

• Potentially introduce Rust for latency-sensitive components

• Leverage AI developer tools to increase productivity

Full ownership - from architecture to deployment.

Your Superpower:

• 5+ years of production Python experience

• Strong async / concurrency knowledge

• Experience designing distributed or real-time systems

• Exposure to DeFi & blockchain concepts

• Ability to read smart contracts

• Pragmatic mindset toward performance & scalability

• Fluent English

• Open to relocation to Dubai

Bonus Points If:

• Familiarity with Rust

• Experience with trading systems

• Understanding of financial markets

• Comfortable working across multiple languages & tools
