Web3 Project Manager

Compensation: $45k - $65k estimated

Position Summary

Salt Lending is seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage multiple departments, including Legal, Licensing and Compliance, Operations, Investor Relations, Vendor Management, and Data Room Management, among others. We are looking for a candidate with the expertise to review, improve, and implement flawless systems and processes when it comes to Jira workflows and project management in order to hold cross department teams accountable.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to multitask effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting the Executive team, mainly, but not limited to, the CEO and COO, in various projects and tasks necessary to expedite results efficiently and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate must be an expert in Atlassian (Jira and Confluence),Google Suite, DocuSign, DocSend, as well as be tech savvy overall.

Essential Functions and Work Duties

The following essential functions of this position are performed personally, in cooperation with your supervisor, and/or in coordination with other staff. Additional work functions and duties may be assigned.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Legal, Compliance, Operations, Vendor Tracking, Investor Relations, and Data Room Management departments.
  • Coordinate and manage various projects across departments, ensuring timely execution and delivery, utilizing AI when possible.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively implement solutions to ensure successful completion.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance across departments.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline operations, optimize processes, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Assist in managing vendor relationships.
  • Support investor relations activities, including coordinating investor meetings, preparing reports, and addressing investor inquiries.
  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of the data rooms for shareholders, investors and regulators - ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and confidentiality.
  • Prepare and distribute relevant documentation, reports, and presentations for executive team meetings and board meetings.
  • Provide administrative support to executives, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence when needed.
  • Responsible for implementing, and upholding company policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the company.
  • Remain updated on technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, joining professional associations, building networks with fellow professionals and reviewing industry publications.
  • Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, computer science, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a project manager, executive assistant, or in a similar role, preferably with knowledge of or open mindedness to learn how AI can assist in projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including those related to current AI projects. Atlassian expert is a must - Jira (Both agile/scrum and work management boards) and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with legal, compliance, operational, and vendor management practices.
  • Knowledge of FinTech and crypto concepts, technologies, and applications, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with professionals and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing various projects, including understanding project scope, milestones, and dependencies specific to various department initiatives.
  • Ability to coordinate and integrate initiatives with legal and compliance requirements, operational processes, and vendor management protocols.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to establish and maintain cooperative and positive working relationships.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt and adjust project plans in response to department-specific challenges or opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Atlassian Suite (Jira and Confluence), Smartsheet, DocuSign, DocSend, Slack, Chat-GPT, and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, especially in the context of all project timelines.
  • Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Note: The additional requirement of knowledge of AI reflects the importance of managing and integrating AI initiatives within the various departments specified in the job description. This knowledge will enable the project manager / executive assistant to effectively support and coordinate AI-related projects and initiatives across the organization.
