Web3 Quantitative Developer

Insolvent Capital is a trading fund that primarily engages in delta-neutral, market-making, and liquidity provisioning strategies. We are currently seeking highly motivated software developers who are knowledgeable in Ethereum and other DeFi protocols to construct our proprietary trading systems. Responsibilities:

• Integrate connectors with existing DeFi protocols and exchanges to facilitate in-house algorithmic trading.
• Collaborate with traders and developers to devise, test, and execute trading strategies and mechanisms.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in DeFi that are relevant to the project.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in two or more of the following languages: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Solidity
• A solid comprehension of the Ethereum Virtual Machine and smart contracts.
• A technical understanding of DeFi protocols, DevOps, and cybersecurity practices when interfacing with DeFi protocols.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, such as object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, networking, and databases.
• Prior experience with automated market makers such as Uniswap, Balancer, Sushiswap, and Pancakeswap.

Preferred:

• A degree in a quantitative field such as data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, physics, or engineering
• High standards in code quality and good development practices
• Experience in high frequency Futures or Derivatives trading is a plus
• Experience in working on low-latency development work is a plus
• Intellectual curiosity to explore new ideas, solve complex problems, drive innovative processes, and connect the dots between multiple fields
• Capacity to work with autonomy within a collegial and collaborative environment
• Able to communicate with technologists, data scientists and traders across the globe
