Web3 Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an Azure DevOps SME to join our new ProdOps team. You will work with a variety Azure technologies and partners and be challenged to solve interesting problems unique to running services at very large scale. You will be responsible for all aspects of the services and areas you own, from design, development, and quality, to deployment, reliability, observability, and performance in production.

Responsibilities:

• As an Azure DevOps SME on this new team, you will evaluate and recommend solutions, and guide team decision making
• Help build the DevOps team with potential leadership opportunities to drive team’s success and growth
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Ops and InfoSec teams to migrate services, build on Azure administration and facilitate development
• Lead the transition from existing to services to modern services
• Document the systems you help build
• Monitor systems and develop dashboards and heatmaps
• Develop scripts and automation tools using our stack (SQL, C#, Azure, Windows)
• Manage continual improvements across systems and drive efficiencies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps experience
• Experience with both Azure administration and development, migration of services, automated testing in Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with Pager Duty, Cloudflare, Pingdom or similar platforms and technologies
• Problem-solving aptitude and desire to automate
• Troubleshooting skills across network, application, caching, queuing, load-balancing storage and distributed services layers
• Ability to work through ambiguity to extract clear technical requirements for a team of engineers and deliver projects on time
• Excellent analytical skills as well as communication skills both verbal and written

Greater consideration will be given to those applicants who can demonstrate the following skills or experience:

• Prior professional experience in building automated dashboards (e.g. Azure DevOps, Power BI)
• Azure DevOps certification preferred (DevOps Engineer Expert) or considering getting certified (Bittrex will support certification for professional development)
