Web3 Senior Infrastructure Architect

As a Senior Infrastructure Architect at Notabene you’ll be the backbone that supports our product engineering teams and take ownership of the bank-grade infrastructure that impacts how crypto transactions are performed around the world today.

Infrastructure at Notabene involves bank-grade security at every layer; Cloud and infrastructure best practices, monitoring, data segregation and secure data encryption everywhere.

What you'll be doing

• Taking ownership of our AWS infastructure, ensuring best-practices are followed with regards to security, deployments, monitoring etc
• Being responsible for our regular compliance and pentest checks
• Supporting product engineering teams with GitLab CI pipelines and deployments
• Being an internal consultant for new projects that require best-in-class security, performance and reliability
• Taking ownership of our Terraform IaaC modules for deploying to and managing our infrastructure hosted in AWS
• Supporting the management of our data warehouse
• Taking responsibility for enforcing the highest privacy and security standards at Notabene

What you'll bring

• 10+ years working in DevOps / Infrastructure
• Deep understanding of AWS services, GitLab CI Pipelines, Docker, Linux
• Advanced networking knowledge e.g. TCP/IP, load balancing
• Experience designing and deploying highly available global solutions e.g. scaling, failovers, regional backups, serverless
• Experience rolling out advanced monitoring/observability e.g. Datadog, distributed tracing, uptime/SLO tracking
• Strong experience working with IaaC to provision and deploy infrastructure (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Chef)
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Great project management and an ability to coordinate and deliver cross-functional projects
• Practical experience working in a fully-remote team. This role is for GMT-5 to GMT+3.
• Bonus: Experience in Crypto/FinTech/RegTech
