WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Sr. Software Engineer - iOS, you will be responsible for the coding, innovative design, and layout of iOS applications to support the vision of our Product and UX teams. You will support UX concept design and contribute to bottoms-up technical designs with our Mobile App team. You will work extensively as a hands-on software engineer building enterprise-grade mobile apps in iOS and contributing to multi-platform (iOS/Android) components and services. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
- Building iOS frameworks with minimal guidance.
- Working with our Android team on cross-platform solutions and common design patterns.
- Daily use of Swift 5.0+, UIKit and auto-layout, Combine.
- Regular use of JSON & RESTful APIs, SQLlite, Protocols & Generics.
- Ensuring quality and performance of the application specifications, including debugging and performance testing of code.
- Writing clean, well-factored, and tested UI code.
- Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
- Using GitLab, JIRA and Confluence for day-to-day work.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
This role is intended for an experienced mobile app developer who has successfully delivered and supported iOS apps in production for large user bases. To ensure success, you must have a passion for mobile app development. It is desirable that you have experience with Android and Kotlin, and preferably familiarity with MVVM architectures and iOS Keychain. You have experience writing software and see the joy in working with others to develop, test, and deliver software into production. You are passionate about modern software architectures and deployment strategies and continuously seek ways to improve the systems you support. You are outgoing and love collaborating with others, engaging with your team on group calls, and working closely with your teammates. You work well with numerous cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growing company. You seek opportunities to hone your skills in the world of Web3.
YOUR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
You have a bachelorâs degree in computer science, Engineering or other technical discipline, with 5+ years of professional experience at software companies. You have at least 3 years hands-on experience building mobile applications for enterprise-grade apps used by at least thousands of daily users. Previous experience with decentralized applications, decentralized identities, and blockchain technology is preferred. Experience working at a software startup is desired.
