Let’s go!  Your Mission As a Senior Frontend Engineer on Bitpanda’s flagship B2C platform, you’ll shape one of Europe’s fastest-growing investing and trading experiences. You’ll craft highly-performant, secure, and scalable web surfaces that bring everything from everyday investing to advanced crypto trading to life. What you’ll do
Own the design, development, and optimisation of high-impact web applications using Angular, Next.js, and TypeScript. Build and maintain robust frontend systems, reusable component libraries, and shared patterns that scale across multiple teams. Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineers to define technical direction and deliver seamless end-to-end experiences. Ensure top-notch performance, reliability, security, and test quality across critical user flows—from trading execution to portfolio management. Mentor engineers, elevate frontend standards across the organisation, and contribute to long-term technical strategy and architecture.
Who you are
6+ years of professional web engineering experience, with expert-level knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, and modern web architecture (React experience is a plus). Experienced in architecting large-scale frontend systems, including SSR/ISR, caching strategies, advanced state management, and performance tuning. Able to turn ambiguous product and UX requirements into clear, scalable technical solutions. Comfortable using modern developer tools, including AI-assisted workflows like Claude Code, to improve productivity and code quality. Hands-on with modern frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library), with a strong understanding of building reliable, maintainable test suites. What’s in it for you
