About The Role
We are building Web 3 and searching for a Vice President of Sales to lead the growth and success of Figment’s Staking team. This leader needs to have demonstrated success in building the breadth of sales “infrastructure” required to scale a team from 10 to 100 + account executives, sales associates, sales engineers and sales operations. The role requires a collaborative player-coach who can build effective sales processes and manage a cross functional team. This Sales Leader should be able to design a sales strategy, build the sales model, recruit the team, define incentive targets and coach the team to execute to plan.
We need a motivated leader who will take responsibility to execute a sales strategy aligned with Figment’s mission, principles and organization's goals. Responsibilities/Duties
- Establish a sales strategy that integrates our customer needs, the market opportunity and our company purpose.
- Build the incentive structure that aligns the Sales team’s behaviors with Figment objectives and principles for long term sustainable growth.
- Establish effective sales operations to build a sales model and set on-going targets and revenue goals.
- Design a global team structure that supports multiple business lines and a technical sales process
- Recruit, onboard and coach sales talent so people develop mastery in their role and love working at Figment
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, Marketing and Operations to continuously improve our customer experience
- Work with Marketing and Executive Team to define go-to-market strategies and open new geographic opportunities
Qualifications
- Extensive experience building relationships and selling into Financial Institutions and as well as ERP software sales knowledge.
- Must have an understanding and passion for crypto, blockchain and Web 3
- Experience running and managing a full enterprise sales cycle
- Success in rapidly growing and onboarding a sales team from under 10 to over 100
- Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while working under tight deadlines
- Consistent proven track record of over achievement of quota expectations
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Proven analytical skills and ability to communicate information effectively to the team
- Experience utilizing data driven metrics, a CRM (Salesforce) and familiarity with sourcing tools (Sales Navigator)
