Who are we looking for?

We need a mid-level Communications Lead working in web3 and blockchain concepts. The finest candidate has innovative ideas and effective communication skills to increase value, efficiency, and quality in our organization. They are proactive and able to contribute expertise to successfully communicate with our greater community. To succeed in this role you must:

• Have resilient soft skills, i.e. listening, networking, flexibility, empathy, and conflict transformation.

• Maintain community engagement by being dedicated, detail-focused, organized, and communicative.

• Have some previous experience in minor project management and scrum planning.

• Understand product services and open-source software.

• Enjoy organized chaos.

• Be capable of being a bridge between different working groups.

• Be comfortable with accepting and applying constructive criticism.

• Have a flexible schedule, as our team navigates time zones all over the world.

• Be fluent in written and verbal English.

• Maintain confidentiality.

• Be at least crypto-curious! Crypto experience preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Attend, participate, and take notes at all relevant weekly working group calls; development, governance, and community calls.

• Communicate relevant information between working groups and find solutions to maintain team alignment on Giveth’s mission and services..

• Document Comms-related issues in Github, in various repos for various working groups, using screenshots and detailed notes. Must follow these Github issues through to completion.

• Take initiative and improve Comms wherever is needed within the ecosystem.

• Maintain a healthy ecosystem by communicating warmly with community members, fellow team members, and responding to inquiries in a timely manner that foster connection.

• Write content needed by the development team to improve the Giveth DApps.

• Collaborate with the design team to create catchy, visually appealing content for our users through our blogs, documentation and in our social media channels; Twitter,Discord, Facebook, LinkedIn & Instagram.

• Become a Giveth user expert by testing the DApps and communicating with developers and project managers.

• See what Comms pieces are missing and fill those voids with ideas, solutions, and initiatives!

• Recognize the accomplishments of community members by dishing !praise.

• Track important metrics that define success; growth, community member interactions, and satisfaction.
