Job Brief

Managing our DevOps teams means to meet with architects and engineering managers, understanding our DevOps challenges and proposing solutions to make it easier for the dev team to test and efficiently deliver our solutions.You will also work closely with the QA team to include their automated tests and end-to-end testing.
You will be managing DevOps employees of different products and oversee their progress, but expected to be hands on. You will need to be able to direct them and be able unblock them in their process.
You will be expected to takeover all DevOps responsibilities and be independent.
Growing needs of DevOps at Gluwa
With the teams growing and splitting into squad we eventually are switching to multi long living feature branches and the needs to spawn testing environment for each of those branches are growing rapidly.
This will be one of the biggest challenges that Gluwa will face in DevOps.
Automating the process of creating all the resources needed to run a Gluwa environment or other products at Gluwa will become a need to facilitate large feature branches.

Requirements
Terraform or scripts to automate deployment of resources on the cloud
A full understanding of ALM Processes (Application life cycle management)
Continuous Integration – Build Pipelines
Continuous Deployment-Release pipelines
Monitoring the health of the existing services, managing alerts or degradation of services
Technical Skills
Azure DevOps - 5 years+
Azure - 5 years+
Automation Scripts (Bash, Python, Go or PowerShell)
Terraform, Heroku or any form of declarative resource deployment
Container Orchestration (Docker, Managed Container instances or Kubernetes) -nice to have
