Provide participants, investors, builders, platforms, and everyone else with reliable information to better participate in the crypto ecosystem.

Our users range from some of the most prominent analysts, investors, and crypto individuals to top organizations including Coinbase, BitGo, Anchorage, 0x, Chainanalysis, Ledger, Compound, MakerDAO, and many more.

The Role

Messari Research publishes daily research reports at the cutting edge of crypto. Our analysts write timely and in-depth macro, thematic, sector, and asset specific research. Messari research reports are distributed through our daily newsletter, research portal, corporate Twitter accounts and are featured by third party partners (including Bloomberg, S&P, and Refinitv). Research analysts are supported by a team of data scientists, a graphic designer and the broader Messari platform.

We are looking for a research analyst to write Bitcoin, Ethereum, and macro focused notes multiple times per week to help engage and grow our Enterprise client base. This position will also allow Analysts to contribute to, and write, longer form research over time.

What you'll do

• Write regular commentary (2-3 notes per week) on Bitcoin, Ethereum and the macro environment.
• Contribute to longer-form research including a BTC and ETH quarterly report.
• Engage with our Enterprise clients specifically on ETH, BTC and macro related questions.
• Work with our data science team and graphic designer to bring novel data-driven insights to our clients.
• Present to clients, participate in panels, and speak at industry conferences.
• Engage with the press and media.

Who you are

• 2-3 years of working experience. Background in equity research, investment banking, corporate strategy, or similar preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the macro environment.
• Understanding of crypto-specific fundamental metrics.
• Experience writing about Bitcoin, Ethereum and/or the macro environment. Relevant writing samples are encouraged.
• Relentlessly curious, resourceful, and able to think critically and creatively.
• A team player, but really. We are a team of collaborative individuals that put Messari’s mission above personal achievement.
• A strong desire to deliver a high quality product.
• Bloomberg experience.
  
  

Salary Ranges for this position (depending upon experience):

$105,000 - $125,000
