We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic People Operations Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in leading/supporting our Employee Experience initiatives as well as owning other People Ops admin as our cultural steward. The ideal candidate will be passionate about employee growth and development, possess a deep understanding of People-centric practices, and be dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

Learning and Development (L&D):

  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions on various topics, including but not limited to giving constructive feedback, compensation discussions, and manager training.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and department heads to identify L&D needs and develop relevant training materials.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making improvements as needed to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Facilitate employee development plans and support individual career growth initiatives.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure L&D programs remain relevant and impactful.

Culture and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
  • Promote and reinforce the organization's mission, vision, and operating principles to create a strong sense of purpose among employees.
  • Help refine our thinking around Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and other approaches to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Organize social experiences and events that foster a positive and cohesive work environment, taking into account the nature of our globally distributed workforce.
  • Facilitate employee engagement surveys and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the People Operations team to develop and implement DEI initiatives to enhance the overall company culture.

Onboarding:
  • Manage and develop the onboarding & orientation program, ensuring a seamless and positive journey for new employees.
  • Manage the administrative tasks related to onboarding such as preparing new hire paperwork, processing background checks and I-9’s, managing swag, and coordinating the onboarding schedule / tasks with new employees.
  • Act as the point of contact for employee questions during the onboarding process, assisting with any concerns that arise.

Other People Operations Functions:
  • Respond to and triage People Operations inquiries from employees regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and other related matters.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to employees by addressing their questions and concerns promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date People Ops collateral in Notion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years working in People Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of People Operations best practices.
  • Experience working with remote, globally distributed teams in a high-tech or high-growth environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication,and presentation skills to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Capability to apply discretion and sound judgment in managing complex processes and decisions while handling sensitive information.
  • Strong business acumen, including critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, attention to detail, time management, and ownership of work.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity; propose short and long term solutions as business needs arise and/or when precedent/data does not readily exist.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and influence with or without positional authority.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (HiBob) and digital tools is a plus
