As a (Senior) Sales Manager - European market @ in the field of machine maintenance (m/f/x), you will be leading the hyper growth commercial goals of the organization. You will achieve these through direct B2B sales, business development and marketing in the global market with an initial focus on UK, Spain, Italy and Germany. You will manage a team of young, energetic sales professionals and will get a chance to build an organization around you. As your organization grows, you will be responsible to setup processes, define and monitor goals, strategy and culture. You will report directly to the CEO and work together with the C-suite to make your impact in the multi-billion Euros after-sales OEM market.
Makula
Makula is developing a new services 4.0 technology that provides small and medium-sized machine manufacturers (SMEs) with an easy-to-use and secure After-Sales Service platform designed to ensure continuous operation despite internal and external uncertainties. It thereby enables small and medium-sized manufacturers to digitalize their internal processes as well as their customer-focused maintenance services without having to invest in developing their own solutions.
Requirements
The Role
You will play a crucial role in increasing the company's sales activities to accelerate its growth with a focus on the Markets in UK, Spain, Italy & Germany You will contribute to building the company's infrastructure and processes and conduct research to validate hypotheses and market trends and analyze competitors' activities. In doing so, you will work hand-in-hand with Makula's founders and NBT's core team.
Job Requirements
- You manage the end-to-end customer acquisition process (inbound / outbound), have an affinity for cold calling and then accompany our potential customers until the sale is closed
- You present Makula at trade fairs and events as well as at online event
- You help to continuously improve our sales and consulting processes
- Together with the founders, you will develop sales strategies for classic and digital sales channel
- You manage and grow the sales team, both internally through direct hires and externally through third party agencies
- You explore various OEM and facility market verticals for product-market fit
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in the machine manufacturing/distribution sector or Saas sector
- Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in clearly communicating verbally and in written form
- A solution-oriented approach and the ability to keep calm under pressure and solve problems timely and effectively
- You should be able to work independently, and have an analytical approach to problem solving
- Self-motivated with a strong internal drive to build and lead a team and create something impactful
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- English language skills necessary. A second language is a plus
