We believe a city is only as great as its citizens. That’s why we’re building our new city residents-first. We are looking for a highly social, intellectually curious individual to join our growth team to focus on membership. The person will use conventional and unconventional methods to find the world’s most magical, talented, and values-aligned people and welcome them into the Praxis community. This person will spend considerable time traveling to and recruiting at key events in tech, fashion, crypto, intellectual, and athletic events, and more. The ideal candidate has world-class social skills, is deeply intellectually engaged, has the ability to adapt to most social situations, and can develop a unique understanding of our target Member segments and their motivations.
The Growth - Membership will be a key contributor to the growth team and will report directly to the Head of Growth.
Initial Responsibilities

  • Create and execute on unique IRL and digital strategies to source world-class Members
  • Build and manage a team to conduct targeted Membership recruiting across multiple cities and organizations, including universities
  • Manage prospect conversion, from sourcing to onboarding
  • Build a presence in the global creative, intellectual, policy, and tech scenes by attending events, conferences, launches, etc. to recruit for and promote the Praxis community
  • Alignment with the Praxis mission and vision
  • Deep understanding of Praxis culture and our target Member segments
  • Highly-social and energetic attitude
  • Robust network in tech, crypto, and/or the creative scene
  • Unique ability to understand people fast and develop strong mental models for success
  • Excellent verbal communication and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt stories and narratives to various audiences
  • Ability to form new relationships quickly
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
