Whomwe’relookingfor?

AsSecurityEngineer,theprimaryfocusofyourrolewillbesupportingthesecurityengineeringfunctioninWirex.

Youwillworkcloselywithawiderangeoftechnicalteamsthatwillspanacrossinnovation,infrastructure,architecture(solutions,security),web, DBA,DevOps,testandbusinessunitstoensurethatSecuritymeetsnotonlytoday'srequirementsbutalsouseyoursecurityskillsandhands-ontechniquestotestandvalidateservices,solutionsandsuppliers.

Responsibilities

• Drive one or more Scrum Teams as the Business Analyst for web and mobile apps development.
• Enterprisesprotection,intelligenceanddisruptiontoidentifyanddismantleexternalthreats
• Developingasetofsecuritystandardsandpractices
• Recommendingsecurityenhancementstomanagement
• Assistingwithinstallationorprocessingofnewsecurityproductsandprocedures
• Watchingoutforirregularsystembehaviour
• Supervisingchangesinsoftware,hardware,anduserneeds
• Reportingfindingstomanagement
• Helpingplananorganization’sinformationsecuritystrategy
• Educatingstaffmembersoninformationsecuritythroughtrainingandawareness
• Recommendingmodificationsinlegal,technicalandregulatoryareas
• Initiateastandard(periodic)scansofnetworkstofindvulnerabilities
• Conductingscansofnetworkstofindvulnerabilities,penetrationtestingetc.

Requirements

• Relevant,InformationSecurityandInformationTechnologyknowledge.Applicantsabletodemonstratethisexperienceandknowledge,certificationswillbeconsideredasanadvantage.
• MicrosoftCertificationsfocussedonsecurity(e.g. MicrosoftCertified:SecurityOperationsAnalystAssociate, MicrosoftCertified:IdentityandAccessAdministratorAssociate)
• Experiencewithintelligenceanddisruptiontoidentifyandthwartexternalthreatstotheenterprise,executivesanddataacrossthepublicattacksurface.
• Technicalknowledgeinoneormoreofthefollowing-Unix, AIX,Linux, Windows,Oracle, F5, WAFCiscoPaloAlto,Azure, AWS,Google;
• Someexperienceinsecurecoding/scripting,examplesinclude(HTML,Bash,Python,Java,Ruby,Powershell, PHP)
• ExperienceinsupportingIdentityandAccessManagementsuitesandtheirenterpriseimplementation,includingAPIsecurity, RBAC, ABAChighlydesirable
• ExperienceofNessus,Elk,Splunk, ELK,Kali,Nessus,Burpsuite,Nipperandothersecuritycompliancetoolingandtheirenterpriseimplementation.
