We're looking for an experienced Web3 Partnership & Growth Manager with previous experience of partnerships, Business Development, or Product roles at a fintech, blockchain, crypto, technology, e-commerce, payments, or financial services company.

The role

The Web3 Partnership & Growth Manager will be an integral part of the Customer Insight and Growth Team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Growth. You will work closely with the Product and Marketing Teams to build strong relationships with partners in the Web3, DeFi, NFT ecosystem. We are looking for an experienced and ambitious partnerships leader who can provide a strategic perspective to product and engineering teams, delivering critical business insights and launching initiatives that impact the market. The role will require a balance of resourceful outreach with data-driven focus, tracking success through KPIs and working with the Global Head of Growth to evolve the partner strategy.

Key responsibilities of the Brand Marketing Executive role:

  • Provide a strategic perspective to product and engineering teams, delivering critical business insights and launching initiatives that impact the market
  • Balancing resourceful outreach with data-driven focus, tracking success through KPIs and working with the Global Head of Growth to evolve the partner strategy
  • Drive and attend partner meet-ups, industry events, and other in-person meetings to deepen relationships, becoming a critical voice and evangelist among partners
  • Working with a global cross-functional team collaboratively to develop and launch partner programs
  • Comfortable navigating uncertainty and ambiguity among the complexity of the crypto/payments space
  • Contribute creative solutions to drive growth given the emerging position of the industry
  • Ability to pursue, close and manage complex partnerships
  • Leverage your professional network, ideally within one or more Layer 1 ecosystems, to maximize Wirex opportunities
  • Communicate frequently with project teams and meaningfully contribute to growth plans

Skills and experience required:

  • Demonstrable experience in Partnerships, Business Development, or Product roles at a fintech, blockchain, crypto, technology, e-commerce, payments, or financial services company
  • Experience in partnerships managing relationships with DeFi/Tradfi projects
  • Strong passion for blockchain tech with a focus on DeFi, NFTs, Web3
  • Continually immerse yourself into the Blockchain and Crypto industry
  • Passion for creating utility in the world of Web3
  • Understanding of payments preferred, or ability to quickly learn complex concepts
  • Confident in relationship building with high EQ and a sense of humility and humour
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment: proactive, self-motivated, results-oriented, and organized
  • Collaborative and open, with experience working with multiple teams, such as product, engineering, legal, sales, and marketing teams is preferred
  • Desire and ability to travel and attend relevant conferences as needed
  • Excellent communication skills across verbal, written and active listening
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work and influence at all levels of an organization including senior stakeholders
  • Wide professional network, ideally within one or more Layer 1 ecosystems
  • Up to date with relevant projects and industry developments in DeFi, TradFi and crypto in general
