THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
The trading team is an integral part of FPG's most important mission in 2022: become a recognizable and trustworthy brand in the institutional crypto markets.
We're looking for a motivated team member who can contribute to our efforts to maintain a high level service for our clients by helping scale the operations of an institutional-grade trading desk.
Reporting to the Director of Trading, this person will contribute to the operations needs of FPG’s trading desk. You’ll be responsible for trade execution operations and risk management.This person will be tasked with assisting account and client support efforts, product operations, trade support, market research and analysis, trade and settlement reporting, and overall contributing to making FPG’s trading desk a world class service.
What you’ll be doing.
- You’ll represent Floating Point Group (FPG) values and services to clients and prospects.
- You'll contribute to account management and will support the rest of the team in managing critical customer relationships
- You'll have dynamic days influenced by market movements.
- You'll maintain efficient and effective operating procedures for all of FPG's trading services.
- You'll help prepare trade and settlement reports that go to our hedge fund and asset manager customers
- You’ll engage in research and analytics to produce reports of FPG trade performance, market developments, and industry news.
- You'll establish a deep understanding of FPG's Product & Processes.
- You'll work with our software developers, trading strategists, traders, and founders to bring your ideas to improve the trading operation from ideation to implementation.
- Bachelors degree from top global university
- 1-3 years of operations experience at a financial institution.
- You are analytical and are very comfortable working with numbers and data
- You are detail oriented, organized and handle yourself well while working under pressure
- Strong written and analytical skills for analysis and internal reporting
- You've worked on challenging and break-through projects in the past.
- You're interested in working with a team to thoughtfully bring a vision to life.
- You're an active user of cryptocurrency / blockchain based products and nothing excites you more than having a chance to present those products to clients
- You live by the mission of a more scalable, programmatic, and decentralized vision of the future of finance.
