Role Summary:

As a Smart Contract Engineer at Lucia Protocol, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our blockchain-based contracts and applications. Your primary focus will be creating efficient, secure, and innovative smart contracts, collaborating with front-end and AI teams to integrate blockchain technology with our AI-powered credit evaluation system.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Smart Contract Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on blockchain platforms. Ensure that the contracts are optimized for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Integration with AI Systems: Work closely with the AI team to integrate smart contract functionalities with AI-powered credit evaluation models.
  • Security and Auditing: Implement best practices for smart contract security. Conduct thorough testing and auditing to identify and rectify vulnerabilities.
  • Blockchain Research: Stay updated with the latest blockchain technologies and trends, especially in the DeFi space, to continuously improve our platform.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside front-end developers and back-end engineers to ensure seamless integration of blockchain components with other parts of the platform.
  • Tech Innovation: Integrate emerging technologies to enhance the platform's capabilities.

Must-have:

  • Strong background in software development with experience in multiple programming languages and proficiency in smart contract development languages such as Solidity.
  • Extensive experience in blockchain technology and decentralized applications, specifically lending/borrowing protocols, DEXs, & dApps.
  • Exceptional ability to convey technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Experience in developing and deploying smart contracts in a DeFi environment.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and their integration into blockchain technology.
  • Solid grasp of security protocols and standards in smart contract development.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in blockchain development, with a focus on smart contracts.

Salary:

  • $106,400.00 - $128,800.00 per year

  • 8-hour shift
