RISC Zero is on a mission to fix the internet. We're a diverse group of hackers, futurists, and nerds dedicated to making the internet the place we all deserve. We've already built the world's first zero knowledge virtual machine capable of running arbitrary code as a zero knowledge proof. We're now building an ecosystem on top of it.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing blockchain-based zk solutions for our clients. You will be working on a range of projects, from building decentralized applications and to developing smart contracts to help design our Bonsai network.

You are probably highly analytical, innovative, and creative, with a passion for problem-solving and a keen attention to detail. You are an excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients to understand complex requirements and develop effective solutions. You are also highly adaptable and able to work in fast-paced environments, often juggling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

More specifically, you’ve probably done most of the following:

• Design, develop and implement Bonsai based zk solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and leverage competitive landscape knowledge to design solutions.
• Create technical documentation and provide guidance on blockchain best practices to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain demo applications and, smart contracts examples for our use cases.
• Research new zk technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential use cases.
• Work with clients to integrate designed solutions into their existing infrastructure and champion their needs internally.
• Conduct code reviews, write clean and efficient code, and identify and troubleshoot bugs

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of experience in blockchain development.
• Proficiency in at least one blockchain platform such as Ethereum, Cosmos or Bitcoin.
• Experience in programming languages such as Solidity, or Rust.
• Strong understanding of cryptography, consensus algorithms, and smart contracts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
