About The Role

As our Accounting Strategy Associate, you will become the subject matter expert of complex DeFi protocols and crypto accounting nuances to best interact with client feedback. You are the primary contact person for client inquiries related to accounting-specific issues - responsible for research and resolution feedback. The Accounting Strategy Associate will report to Cryptio’s Head of Accounting, Tax and Financial Reporting strategy, partner up with and assist our Sr. Accounting, tax and Audit Strategist and will work closely with our Revenue and Customer Support teams.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact person for client inquiries related to accounting-specific issues - responsible for research and resolution feedback.
• Testing new product features through in-depth knowledge of crypto accounting functionality.
• Work with internal teams including the product, customer success, and technology teams to build out product features. Following up on development for resolution as a touch point with all internal teams.
• Creating documentation of product-specific features found through internal and external development.
• Assist clients through month-end close through an in-depth understanding of the reporting suite and steps to close their books
• Attending crypto accounting and regulatory events to stay current on industry standards and developments.
• Become the subject matter expert of complex DeFi protocols and crypto accounting nuances to best interact with client feedback.
• Create and maintain internal accounting documentation around crypto accounting guidance.
• Help internal teams meet revenue & retention objectives and goals.
• Work on ad hoc projects and tasks as needed within the team
  
  

Requirements

• CPA qualified
• Experience working in a Big4 firm
• Crypto experience
• Experience in a client-facing role
• Collaborative mindset
• Self-Starter with a startup mindset
• Strong communication skills
• Located in the NYC metropolitan area
• 3 to 6 years of experience
