Web3 Backend/DevOps Engineer (Go/AWS) - DeFi - REMOTE ROLE (Brahma)

Cherry Ventures is assisting our portfolio with this REMOTE hire.

We are looking for a talented DevOps & Back End Engineer to join Brahma in building best-in-class DeFi trading systems.

YOU DON'T NEED TO ALREADY BE WORKING IN THE CRYPTO SPACE TO APPLY!

You will pair a strong back-end development background with a balance of technical rigor with execution. If you have any knowledge of building trading systems, that would be great but not essential. Open on years of experience, we would however like to look at examples of your work on your GitHub repository.

Tasks

• Develop a scalable and consistent data handling infrastructure, which ingests data from various DeFi primitives to facilitate efficient backtesting of quantitative investment strategies;
• Design and build microservices that manage/monitor the strategies keeping interactions with underlying DeFi primitives and multi-chain operations in sync.
• Responsible for the availability and reliability of the different services
• Building continuous integration and deployment pipelines for new services and work closely with other developers to rapidly integrate their code.
• Facilitate automation improving deployments, and build systems reducing manual operation

Requirements

About You:

• Excellent understanding of low-level Golang primitives, with a special focus on concurrent execution and optimization;
• Experience with AWS services
• Experience in Containerization of application (Docker) and deployment in Kubernetes;
• Experience building deployment pipelines leveraging common CI/CD tools

Bonus / nice to have's

• Understanding of and experience with security and services-oriented architecture; and experience with building fault-tolerant systems;
• Experience with complex streams of real-time data;
• Experience with Kubernetes;
• Knowledge of Python

The number of years of experience does not matter as long as you have built complex projects from scratch, you have a burning desire to learn more and enjoy solving tricky problems on a daily basis.
