Crypto Full Stack Software Engineer with Back-End Emphasis [US Remote OK]

ZenLedger is a cryptocurrency accounting saas startup. Venture backers include Mark Cuban, Castle Island Ventures (Nic Carter). We have just closed Series A and have raised $12.5M to date. Our business is growing fast and there is a lot of cool stuff we need to build. Our founding team has a diverse set of experiences in startups, investment banking, angel investing, big tech- with multiple exits.

We help cyrpto investors, tax professionals, accountants, and investment professionals with crypto accounting, tax, portfolio mgtm. Defi, NFTs, yielf farming, etc.

We are looking for a talented senior full-stack software engineer that loves building high quality web applications, coding complex computation, and secure cloud deployments. Sometimes you’ll need to fight fires to get things running again, and other times you’ll have to think deeply about blockchain, crypto, accounting, or architecture issues. There will lots of variety, creativy, and problem solving required because the industry is moving fast and changing fluidly.

You may work remote, as long as you are physically inside of the USA.

What You’ll Do:

• You will be a full time employee of ZenLedger. No consultants or freelancers.
• Must live in the USA. Must have whatever citizenship related status needed to secure a govt background check
• Normal business hours, USA East coast is preferred
• Work on designing and shipping features

Technical skills:

• BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Math or Data Science degree.
• 5+ years of commercial software engineering
• 5+ years of Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, Python, Java
• 5+ years experience professionally working on a WebApp (and that WebApp is the company’s core product or service)
• 2+ years experience with the WebApp running on AWS

What We Are Looking For:

• +12 months or more working for a cryptocurrency company
• Communication, creativity, problem solving
• You like identifying inefficiencies and creatively suggest ways to solve them
• Passion for cryptocurrency is a strong plus
• Having a security clearance already is a plus
