The Starknet Foundation is a non-profit organization established to support the development of Starknet, a state-of-the-art layer 2 blockchain network built on top of Ethereum. Our mission is to unlock Ethereum’s scalability and efficiency, making decentralized applications more accessible and effective. As our very first Data Analyst, you will spearhead our reporting & analytics efforts across various functions - from ecosystem growth, to marketing, to business operations. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our understanding of the network and will drive critical business decisions through your insights.
Responsibilities:
• Gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources to derive actionable business insights. Utilize SQL, Python, and other tools to manipulate and interpret complex datasets.
• Create clear and insightful reports and dashboards used to guide the internal strategy of the Starknet Foundation and tie in decisions to data-driven metrics.
• Interpret large datasets, providing insights and advice to business leaders. Answer critical questions about the overall health and efficiency of various growth and marketing programs and ecosystem projects.
• Develop and implement monitoring systems to track the performance of blockchain applications and protocols. Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for optimization.
• Conduct research and analysis on market trends, competitor strategies, and industry developments. Provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights.
Requirements:
• Background and education in Computer Science, Analytics/Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst/Scientist or similar role, with a strong understanding of blockchain technology.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Self-starter capable of working remotely and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
