Notional Finance is hiring a Web3 DeFi Data Analyst
Compensation: $100k - $150k
Location: Remote
We are looking for a DeFi-native data analyst who loves to work with data, loves yield strategies, and loves to create data-driven content about yield strategies!
You will work directly with the founders of the protocol and will contribute to discussions regarding multiple aspects of the business - the product UI, current and future yield strategies, marketing strategies, and growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Master the Notional subgraph
- Maintain Notional Dune Dashboards
- Write various subgraph and blockchain queries for use on the Notional UI. For example:
- Get the APY from executing yield strategies that utilize multiple DeFi protocols.
- Get a Notional user’s transaction history and filter by a certain transaction type.
- User data analysis. For example:
- Get the average account value for a stablecoin borrower on Notional.
- Get the average annual revenue generated by an ETH leveraged vault user.
- Create engaging, data-driven content about Notional. For example:
- A twitter thread about a Notional user’s leveraged vault position that shows how the position’s earnings evolved over time and why.
- A twitter thread about how to set a safe liquidation price for a leveraged liquidity position.
- Answer user questions about how Notional works and their positions.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of DeFi.
- Strong blockchain data analysis skills and experience.
- Proficient in python and SQL.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Motivated and able to work independently.
