We are looking for a passionate Design Director (Gaming Products) to join the Experience Team. We are looking for a Design Director who is curious about the NFT marketplace and Blockchain. We are accountable for creating amazing, immersive experiences that will play a leading role in Candy’s success. You will be part of a devoted, innovative team. Above all, you will be accountable for helping Candy create a fandom.

We are searching for creative minds that are excited to take on difficulties in the immediate while providing vision to the future. We want builders, innovators, and those that can not only think outside the box, but collaborate outside the box.

AS OUR MOST VALUABLE PLAYER, YOU WILL...

• Help ensure that the game design vision is based on cross functional input from user research, business goal, engineering/platform and creative/innovation
• Communicate  design goals for the project to team members and ensure they are understood.
• Demonstrate proficiency with systems design, game tuning, economy design, user experience design, and design documentation.
• Communicate your designs and vision to colleagues from different professional backgrounds
• Work to make high level direction from team leadership a reality and works with the other project leads to meet these goals.
• Work with project management to schedule design planning and implementation.
• Work closely with all departments to investigate solutions that fully fit with company goals and the goals of the game.
• Ensure all design and implementation deliverables are up to Candy's high standards of quality.
• Check game progress against milestone deliverables and, if necessary, corrects course.
• Identifiy design gaps and works with the design team to find solutions.

WHO ARE YOU?

• 8+ years of combined experience in Game Design as well as having worked with a cross-functional product team.
• Strong comprehension of how the design of a products fits with business and engineering teams.
• Portfolio that demonstrates experience in innovating design projects, crafting design systems, working through complex user flows, and shipping products that are functional, engaging, intuitive and visually compelling.
• Experience working within engines, such as Unity and Unreal.
• Intimate knowledge of how games work and what makes them fun.
• Experience working with NFT’s a Plus!

Total Compensation Range (Base + Equity): 130k-180k per year

Our compensation package currently breaks down into a base salary and an equity component for all employees. The candidate’s seniority and the evaluations made of that candidate during the interview process determine compensation.
