We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Strategic Business Development to lead our global business initiatives and drive the growth of our organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of prime/OTC dealing, regulatory landscapes, and traditional finance (TradFi) partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a results-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prime/OTC Dealing Desk Management:
    1. Create and manage a prime/OTC dealing desk to optimize trading operations and enhance market liquidity.
    2. Oversee the execution of trades, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
  2. Regulatory Compliance:
    1. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate local crypto regulations in key markets such as the US, EU, and Australia.
    2. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while developing strategies to mitigate legal risks.
  3. Major Account Development:
    1. Identify and develop major accounts in key markets, fostering long-term relationships with high-value clients.
    2. Drive account growth through strategic initiatives and personalized client engagement.
  4. TradFi Partnerships:
    1. Develop and maintain partnerships with traditional finance clients and institutions to expand business opportunities.
    2. Leverage existing networks to build strong alliances and facilitate cross-sector collaboration.
  5. Product Enhancement:
    1. Collaborate with the product team to enhance existing products and develop new offerings that meet market demands.
    2. Provide strategic input to ensure product alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  6. Global Team Leadership:
    1. Lead and inspire a global business development team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
    2. Set clear objectives, provide mentorship, and drive team performance to achieve ambitious targets.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing prime/OTC dealing desks and trading operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of local crypto regulations in key markets.
  • Strong background in developing and managing major accounts in the US, EU, Australia, and other key regions.
  • Extensive experience in building partnerships with traditional finance clients and institutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with product teams to enhance and develop market-relevant products.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of leading and growing high-performing global teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on achieving results and driving business growth.

  • The salary range for this position is $210,000 - $315,000
  • The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
