Confirmo is hiring a Web3 IT Support Specialist (junior)

Confirmo is one of the fastest growing crypto payment gateways, and our flexible solutions, low fees, and top-class support make it easy for businesses of all sizes to accept crypto payments. Since 2022, we’ve grown 700% in volume and now process over $80M+ monthly and due to our expansion plans, we are looking to grow our team by junior IT Support Specialist.
This is not typical "have you tried turning it off and on again" IT support role. At Confirmo, we build a leading stablecoin payment platform, and security is part of our DNA. As our IT Support Specialist, you will become the guardian of our people-related infrastructure and the go-to person for our team’s technical needs.
Overview:
You’ll be our first dedicated IT support person, dealing with internal IT administration, identity management and working HW logistics. For some aspects we have rules and best practices defined, for some others we expect you to step up and analyze, define and defend how the whole company should operate. As an example, we need to set up an MDM solution for all employees to fulfill security and compliance requirements. We’re a slightly overgrown startup, don’t expect anyone to tell you how to do things, it’s for you to analyze, propose and defend, because you’ll be challenged :-).
Part time is possible (>0.5 FTE) but Full time is preferred. The job can be suitable for a student or advanced juniors but they need to be a technical “nerd” in a good sense of the word. Since you will be our primary IT specialist, you will have the freedom to shape our internal IT processes and choose the right tools for the job. If you enjoy helping people, love organized systems, and have a passion for security, we want you on board.
Key Responsibilities:
Setup our Google Workspace MDM profiles, to control which client-side browsers can access internal resources at Confirmo.
Setup our Hexnode MDM profiles, to control how personal working devices behave.
Establish communication channel and lightweight process to handle and resolve people IT needs.
Your Profile:
We are looking for a tech-savvy problem solver who understands that everything starts with deep understanding, proper configuration and user education.
OS Administration: Strong proficiency in administering Windows and macOS (practical Linux knowledge is a plus). You should be comfortable troubleshooting deep system issues, not just surface-level bugs.
Security Mindset: You understand the basics of PKI, the importance of passkeys/2FA, system hardening, and why password managers are non-negotiable. You don't just follow security rules; you help enforce them.
Automation and organization: You’re a person who highly believes that manual and tedious work is painful and boring. You’ve been scripting all around your computers your whole life, you love backups, versioning, configuration as a code and other principles. You love to establish automated repeatable patterns others can follow and re-use in their workflows.
MDM Experience: You should have an experience with at least one of the wide range of MDM solutions (enrollment, policy pushing, remote wiping).
Documentation Skills: You can write clear, step-by-step guides that make complex technical tasks easy for non-technical colleagues.
English Language: We are an international team; fluent English (written and spoken) is a must.
Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, patience when explaining technical concepts to users, and a proactive approach to solving problems before they escalate.

While not required, having these skills will give you a head start:
Identity & Access Management: Experience with onboarding/offboarding processes, managing user lifecycles, and configuring permissions across various tools. You may have experience with any IdP being OKTA, Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID or anything else.
SaaS Ops: Experience auditing OAuth grants or managing integrations between various SaaS tools.
Cost Control: Experience with SaaS license management and cost optimization.
Crypto Interest: A personal interest in cryptocurrencies or blockchain technology.
Location: Onsite/Hybrid in Prague are offered for this role.
