Web3 Lead QA Engineer

BitGo is looking for a Lead QA Engineer who will join our team in India to lead QA initiatives. Hands-on coding would be required in order to get a good knowledge of both BitGo and blockchain components. The Lead engineer would need to coordinate with teams across the globe to ensure testing frameworks and the release process is streamlined.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product teams and implement process improvements
• Partner with Infrastructure team to leverage automation for scalability and reliability
• Manage and hire a team of QA test engineers if and when needed
• Partner with Velocity to team to ensure engineering velocity and efficiency is maintained

Required:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional experience working with QA automation frameworks
• Experience leading QA activities
• Experience in performing manual and automated testing
• Experience with Cucumber (Gherkin language)
• Experience with Cypress
• Experience with Xray jira
• Experience in managing black box and white box testing
• Experience reporting progress and results to stakeholders
• Experience building, shipping, and maintaining software
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Prefered:

• Strong programming skills in Javascript/Typescript
• Experience working for a blockchain company/project
• Understanding or experience with MongoDB
