Product Manager

SELF ID is looking for a seasoned and visionary Product Manager with a passion for blockchain technology to guide the development and success of our product offerings. This role will involve close collaboration with our engineering, design, and marketing teams to shape the vision, design, and execution of groundbreaking decentralized identity and data sovereignty solutions. While you will initially focus on individual contributions, we see this role as foundational, with a clear pathway to evolve into a leadership position, as our company scales.

This is a full-time role reporting to the CEO/interim CTO that can be held anywhere in the world.

What you’ll do at SELF ID:

• Define and manage the Product Roadmap, and help to shape, refine, and expand our product vision in harmony with the company's overarching goals.
• Create detailed product specifications and requirements in collaboration with company leadership to be architected and developed by the engineering team.
• Engage in deep collaboration with teams across functions - be it engineering, design, marketing, business development, or partner success - ensuring seamless product launches and feature rollouts.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to pinpoint opportunities and threats.
• Evangelize product vision to both internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Implement a data-centric approach to evaluate product performance and to validate new ideas.
• Facilitate customer-centric research initiatives, such as interviews, surveys, and usability studies, to continually refine our offerings.
• Stay abreast of trends in the blockchain and cryptocurrency domains, ensuring our products remain cutting-edge.
• Manage and optimize the product life cycle from conception to sunset.

What Excites Us:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• 5-7+ years of product management or relevant experience, with an emphasis on blockchain, identity, fintech, or high-growth startups.
• Comprehensive grasp of blockchain technology and its transformative applications.
• Stellar analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional communication prowess, both written and spoken.
• Proven track record of driving results in cross-functional settings.
• Adaptability to thrive in an agile startup environment, with resilience to pivot and iterate.
