Obscuro Limited is hiring a Web3 Protocol Engineer
Compensation: $125k - $160k
Location: Remote
Are you an engineer passionate about blockchains potential to transform society? If so, we'd love to talk to you about joining the engineering team at Obscuro - a layer 2 roll-up bringing privacy to Ethereum.
We are looking for an experienced engineer to help build the leading privacy layer 2 network for Ethereum. The ideal candidate is obsessed with delivering user-centric experiences, has experience with distributed systems and protocols and simply loves to code. We're a fast-moving startup so you will need to exhibit rigorous engineering from design through to implementation, excellent judgement and have a strong sense of ownership.
Responsibilities
- Highly productive with back-end languages, libraries, and architectures. Full stack is a bonus.
- Strong and deep technical acumen. You can dissect complicated technical problems, simplify experiences and contribute to continuous improvement.
- You innovate on behalf of our customers to achieve high impact outcomes, consistently anticipating and solving for customer needs.
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit and an advanced understanding of long-term business needs and the competitive environment.
- You are able to work independently and effectively in a results-oriented environment and often use judgement to make decisions of high complexity and impact.
- Excellent written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science or relevant experience.
- 5+ years software engineering experience.
- Desirable if you have experience with distributed systems, protocol design and blockchain including Ethereum.
