Web3 Rewards Analyst

Compensation: $36k - $60k estimated

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven, proactive and hyper-detailed Rewards Analyst who is excited about process optimization and making user-friendly reports and spreadsheets. The position offers ownership over client reward and rebate tracking, as well as considerable opportunity to have a large impact within a hypergrowth and evolving organization. The Rewards Analyst will also get to learn about and work with many “block explorers” (blockchain search engines that allow you to search for information on the blockchain).

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Rewards Analyst will also work with our Customer Success team to help build scalable tracking and customer reporting processes. The ideal candidate is a problem solver that is excited about the opportunity to work with, organize, automate and present data in a user-friendly manner.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Own client reward and rebate tracking across many networks
  • Work with the Financial Controller to redesign our existing tracking processes to be more scalable, automated and less redundant
  • Help create user-friendly and value-add reports for our clients
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller, Research Team, Customer Success and Dev-Ops to ensure all rewards and rebates are calculated and processed for month-end close
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projections support

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Remote work from home, requires reliable internet connection and acceptable work from home setting
  • Canadian or US CPA preferred
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills required to turn complex data into easily understandable reports
  • Basic SQL or other data querying knowledge to pull rewards data directly from blockchains
  • Well developed analytical and problem-solving skills, solid attention to detail and big picture thinker
  • Experience working in high-growth fast-paced environments with strong processes mindset and superior documentation skills
  • This is a full time position and fully remote, but preference will be given to applicants within ET and PT time zones.
