Web3 Sanctions and AML Analyst

Core purpose of the role:

To provide assistance to the Risk and Compliance departments in analysing and contacting our client base to ensure that our regulatory requirements are fulfilled.

Main responsibilities of the role:

• Perform Sanctions, PEP and Adverse Media screening on daily basis
• Respond to customer’s inquiries on daily basis
• Perform Enhanced Due Diligence
• Work on investigations for confirmed Sanctions/PEP/Adverse media cases to detect, prevent and report on possible money laundering, terrorism financing, corruption and other suspicious activity
• Creating and filing SARs
• Assist Team Lead, team mates and Heads of departments with projects and any ad hoc requests
• Perform mentoring task as assigned
• Review and contribute to compliance training materials for staff, as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in compliance, KYC/AML, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening (preferably with a financial services company or other fintech company)
• Good knowledge of the sanctions environment and FinCrime issues
• Interest or experience in financial regulation; knowledge of fintechs and regulatory environment relevant to payment institutions
• Strong focusing during the day
• High attentiveness to details
• Excellent open search skills
• Ability to quickly analyze data
• Good team player
• Eager to learn and develop new skills and comfortable working with different technical tools
• Excellent skills with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc
• Solid communications, analytical, time management and interpersonal skills
• Advanced in English
